Hey peepes. The feature of when you relog in any private quicknotes sent to you that you never saw before you logged out is acting crazy for me. It shows like all the public and private qn's i missed, not just private ones. Is anyone else noticing this? Hope this hasn't been already addressed in another topic
i can go better than that. this morning when i logged in i got the sound to say that i had missed a private message and all that it showed me were 3 people who had logged in! lol. insidentally i checked the log in board just to see and sure enough none of them were actually logged in.
there would seem to be a glitch in the coding somewhere. a few people have mentioned similar things like this happening to them over the last few days. i don't find it annoying though, more amusing than anything else.

The first time i thought hmmm. Amusing. The second time I thought Hmmmm. Still happening? Now this is the fifth time it's happening and I'm starting to get a tad annoyed with it. Could someone look into why it's happening? It's indicating that you have a private qn when you actually don't. and is the feature *supposed* to show you absolutely every qn sent since you last logged out? It's just a bit odd.
I noticed this change as well when I logged into the Zone It will make the sound like you hear the private quicknote noise but when I scroll down to see who private quicknoted me I find a bunch of users chatting from the last time I logged out. I think it is just a glitch in the server coding like Harp said above on this board post but this is starting to annoy the fuck out of me also but the first couple of times when I saw the glitch happening it was pretty damn funny I do admit.
I agree I just logged in and found QNs from two days ago and got the sound like someone had private messaged me. A bit of a pain in the ass.

I also receive the sound like someone private quicknoted me, but it shows all public quicknote received from when I last logged out. I think the feature should be changed to only show you a quicknote if it was privately received since your last session. Not all public notes. Who agrees?
yep experiencing same thing. yeah prob just a glitch in the coding. You can always skip by the quicknotes, so it doesn't have to be annoying. :)
I think if you use quick navigation keys, quick notes are always at level 6, and messages on the boards, or whatever game you're in is under heading level 3. Receiving private quicknotes from other people that are meant for other people? wow! I'm glad I don't have them on right now. If it started showing publically all the private qn's I've sent and received since I've been on here, I'd have to leave, never use qn's again, and turn off my private mail in box.

It doesn’t show peoples private conversations, just the quick notes you happened to miss while it logs you out. Anyway, I find them interesting. I’ve also gotten into the habit where I log out before I close the browser so I don’t get any of the quick notes.
Well the intent was to only show private quicknotes. There's apparently a bug with this, and it'll be fixed soon.
I had the same problems. First of all I had Dan's problem (such as the sound appeared but there was no message) and then I only saw the public ones and not really the private ones.
